Ashberry Acres is a boarding farm located in Navarre, Ohio that currently supports a steady client base of owners and trainers from across the Mid-West with services such as short term boarding for turnouts from Ohio’s raceways and longer care provided for broodmares, weanlings and yearlings.  The farm boasts more than 30 years experience in providing these services from owner Leroy Amos, a well respected Ohio horseman and farrier, and his sons.

Ashberry Acres was founded by Leroy Amos in 1978 after he began shoeing harness horses at Northfield Park.  He saw a need for a place where race horses could freshen up and escape the high stress environment of the race track.  This idea grew quickly and soon his small operation needed to grow along with it.  At it's peak capacity the farm has seen as many as 50 horses on hand.  Typically, though, occupancy is maintained at around half that.  Not having a large amount of horses to care for allows us to provide higher quality and more personalized care for your horses.
